تجربة "الجنوب" ونشاط ميناء عدن

هناك جيل يحتاج إلى من يناقشه بهدوء حينما يتعلق الأمر بتجربة قيام الدولة في الجنوب، والصعوبات التي رافقت قيامها.
قطاع واسع من هذا الجيل هو ضحية التشويه التي تعرضت له هذه التجربة من قبل خصومها.
مثل هذا التشويه هو أمر طبيعي باعتباره منتجا سياسيا لا تخلو منه المعارك السياسية كما تدونها التجارب التي مر بها اليمن، ولا يزال.
وهو يحتاج بالمقابل إلى خوض المعركة بتوضيح الوقائع التاريخية كما حدثت.
يجب أن لا نلوم أياً من هذا الجيل حينما يتعرض لمثل هذه القراءة للوقائع التاريخية من قبل الذين يربطون تراجع نشاط ميناء عدن بالاستقلال واستلام الجبهة القومية للسلطة.
فهذا الجيل يردد ما قرأه أو ما سمعه أو ما تعلمه؛ ربما لم يجد من يقول له إن تراجع نشاط ميناء عدن في ذلك الوقت كان بسبب حرب عام 1967 وإغلاق قناة السويس، والذي تزامن مع استقلال الجنوب، وتسبب في الركود التجاري لمدينة عدن.
ولم يكن للموضوع في ذلك الوقت المبكر أي علاقة بالمنهج الاقتصادي الذي اتبعته الجمهورية فيما بعد، بل ربما أن هذا الحدث كان قد تسبب في الأخذ بالسياسة الاقتصادية اللاحقة، إضافة إلى غيرها من الأسباب التي لا بد أن تكون موضوع نقاش وتوضيح لهذا الجيل لتضعه أمام مسؤوليته بعد ذلك في التخلص من شراك السياسة التي كثيراً ما كانت سبباً في تعطيل الوظيفة الحقيقية للتاريخ.
